Xbox 360 Gears of War 3 Limited Edition

A black and red painted pattern, for a special edition console to celebrate the release of the third installment of the gear of war game franchise, a big money spinner for MS.

To celebrate the release of the slim line 360 S console, Microsoft announced two special edition 360 consoles in July, 2011. Due for release in September, 2011, the Gears of War 3 console is one of the special edition 360's. The only difference between the special edition consoles and the standard Xbox 360 S, is that the special edition consoles feature a 320GB hard disk (the standard consoles have 4GB and 250GB respectively) and a unique coloured pattern on the console case and controller. The Gears of War 3 console is pictured above - and, as you can see, features a metallic black and red finish. The cost of the console will be in the region of £269.99.
